Well I was bored and had this idea{don't think its been done} about doing a massive Gmc member/instructor guitar solo.

Comprising around lets say C#/Db Phrygian every participant contributes say 10secs{flexible}and we add it all together. Maybe someone could make a backing track for this{Smells} The solo can be of any difficulty level I would like this to involve a broad spectrum of ability's so everyone can have a go ie me laugh.gif.

Style wise we could mix it up and see what comes up or stick to a certain genre its up to you guys thought comments let rip this could be cool and a great showcase for GMC biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Ps Dont shoot me down Iam fragile huh.gif huh.gif huh.gif

C#/Db phrygian scale

More than 10 secs I would propose x numbers of bars (like 8 or 16 bars)...

The time scale is flexible i do think if we manage to get a lot of people we may need to scale down a bit please excuse the pun

Also just a quick thought to make it more interesting we could make it a chain as in one person starts it of then the next person carrys on from where the last person left of if you follow me.

Awesome idea! Following the previous persons idea would make it flow really well!

So how many bars were you thinking each?

8 bars might be a bit long if you wanna stick with the 'one person starts it of then the next person carrys on' idea...

...or you could make 8 bars placements, 4 bars placements, 2 bars, 1 bar placements, etc. 8 bars more like a solo, 2 bars more like 'i start you follow'

If we ever get super fast internet connection we could make live jams with people from all over...
