The Lady of the Night

Verse 1:

She hides in my closet.
Waits Till I’m asleep.
Closes here eyes.
And gently starts to sing.

Her precise melodies.
Take the fear out of me.
Until none is left,
For no one to see.

And as dawn approaches.
On hindered legs it walks.
The Lady of the Night.
Is drenched in sunlight.

It pours throughout her body.
Drains whats left of her soul.
Until night comes again.
Death is her toll.

Chorus: The Lady of the Night.
Stay with me.
When Sunlight approaches, please don’t ever leave.
You are the one who keeps me company.
You are a part of me.

And when that day comes, when sunlight is covered by the night.
It will only be me, and the Lady of the Night.

Verse 2: Night after night.
You come into my room.
Like an anxious opossum,
I wait for your words to blossom.

“My child you are beautiful,
From head to toe.
Good things will come of you.
This I know

Cherish your life, don’t act on what others want you to be.
For you are your own person, the people, and the free.

Believe in yourself, you have the potential to do great things.
Don’t be like your fellow Lady, all I do is sing! “

Then something happened.

In the hollow bedroom, a song of sadden sorrows.
Arised the child for tomorrow.

As he started singing.

Chorus: The Lady of the Night.
Stay with me.
When Sunlight approaches, please don’t ever leave.
You are the one who keeps me company.
You are a part of me.

And when that day comes, when sunlight is covered by the night.
It will only be me, and the Lady of the Night.

Verse 3: The silence, golden.
Patience was key.
As the boy got up.
And approached the lady.

His footsteps, subtle
His motions were swift.
The Lady and I were caught in a drift.

Both tongues compressed, trying to squeeze out the sounds.
Suprisingly enough, there was no noise to be found.

Then finally, out of the blue.
The boy said softly “Who are you? “

She glanced up slowly, her eyes fixed on mine
Looking for emotion
Looking for a sign.

“Well I don’t know how to say this,
But I watch you while you sleep.”

“What?”

No, don’t get the wrong impression; I’m anything but a creep.”
“I’m the Lady of the Night.
I sing my songs for unblessed hearts.
I give you my company, without remark.”

The boy looked uneasy, hiding what he feared and said;
“Will you still be here, when the night has cleared?”

Chorus: The Lady of the Night.
Stay with me.
When Sunlight approaches, please don’t ever leave.
You are the one who keeps me company.
You are a part of me.

And when that day comes, when sunlight is covered by the night.
It will only be me, and the Lady of the Night.

Verse:4
And just then, out of the horizon.
The Sun appeared.

Daylight crept, up the boy’s home.
Look for an area to roam.

“When will I see you again? cried the boy.

She Replied:
“After all the day is done, I will be with you, and we will be one.

Chorus: The Lady of the Night.
Stay with me.
When Sunlight approaches, please don’t ever leave.
You are the one who keeps me company.
You are a part of me.

And when that day comes, when sunlight is covered by the night.
It will only be me, and the Lady of the Night

Verse:5

And as the sunlight, finally hit the boy’s window.
The Lady of the Night was vanished out of sight.

The boy wept quietly. He looked all around.
But the Lady of the Night, was no where to be found.
And from that day on, the days had never felt so long.
For the boy waited, with strength and might.
Only to see , The Lady of the Night.

I feel I did my justice towards what you guys said I was doing wrong biggrin.gif
