Being wanting a charvel for along time now. Finally got one. The choice of colour will definitely not be to every ones taste. For some reason though I really like it.
The position of the input jack is incredible. The belly contour in the back of the guitar is amazing. I have always went against the common knowledge of not buying a guitar before you try it and I know why. Most of the guitars I have bought I have sold except for my Gibson les paul 2013 standard. Love that guitar to pieces but I do struggle to play clean barre chords on it and find it hard to wrap the thumb round the low E string to mute it when needed.
The charvel neck seems perfect. Its not Ibanez thin which I dont get on with but its cleary not Gibson thick that can make playing it a fight sometimes.
Anyway here is some pictures.

Thanks Todd
Here is a video of someone who does the guitar alot more justice
I am hoping to buy a audio interface in the coming months and get into a good practice routine and hopefully uploading lessons to the record section. All depending how I get on with pains I get that I spoke about on a previous thread.

Congrats on the new Charvel! I haven't had the chance to play any of the newer ones yet but I have heard good things about them. I love the look of the roasted maple neck but I have never got to try one of those either. From what I understand they are great for resisting moisture after being treated in this way but I haven't heard much about how it might affect tone compared to a maple that has not been treated. Looks awesome though! Putting the input jack on the back is an interesting twist. I hope she serves you well.
Seeing this makes me wish I had never sold my mid 90's San Dimas III.

I played a lower priced model about a month ago (no Caramelized neck but had a flame maple body, can't remember model).
Must admit it sustained better than overall ibanez guitars and had a really nice weight close to my mahogany/maple cap. RG which was very expensive at the time.

I can confirm the guitar is amazing. The roasted maple is what sold me.
Interesting I never knew they were great for resisting moisture.
I had major gas on Charvel guitars for a while now. Would love a san dimas at one point. Being there with wishing a never sold something aswell. Sometimes hard times force a sale which has done with me in the past.

I love Ibanez guitars . Although I have realised fairly recently I just dont get on with necks that are to thin
