It depends of many factors,type of amp/preamp,guitar,speaker etc.

What does everybody have their amp set to when playing for Bass, Mid and Treble. I always have my amp set on the following: Bass: 0 Mid: 10 Treble: 6 The rest of the band thinks I sound really good with that setting but they are alightly annoyed as it is hard for them to break through in the mix with my mids so high.
