Hi tflava!

Great to see you still working on this one and this time sharing a complete take. I cannot compare how your tone has improved because the previous video has been deleted, but I can say that your overall mix sounds good on this video. I would equalize your guitar with some more bass but it's just a matter of taste.

Your playing is also getting tighter on this one but there is still more room to go tighter. There are some moments (for example starting at 00:30) where you tend to go after the beat and your guitar sound like delayed. Sometimes it's good go a bit after to avoid rushing the beat, but this kind of swing feel should be more natural and groovy.

Please keep on practicing this one over the original tune but also over the backing to make the single notes staccato sound clearer and the overall lesson tighter.

Keep on the hard work!

Hi man, this lesson is a tough challenge for rhythm guitar!

Your tone is quite good. Maybe adding some bass to the EQ might help - try to do this before recording rather than boosting EQ afterwards. Cutting EQ is always preferable to boosting.. so don't be afraid to add some bass.

Timing is the main thing here which needs working on. I'm nearly always telling people that they're in front of the beat but in this case it's different. You're often too far behind the beat and getting left behind. So as Gabriel suggested, try playing along to the original lesson as well as practising it with the slower backing tracks.

Hey there!
Unfortunately I'm not able to compare to your previous take but what i hear at this one is:

1. Nicely mathed tone
2. Just a little lack of precision at some position shifts
3. Timming issues

Third one is probably the most visible issue at the moment. You need to experiment with the width and strength of right hand motion or...make sure about the proper backing track volume so you won't loose tempo.

But do not conisder above to be a huge issues. In your case it only need some polishing. I know you are able to get solid groove and timming so just try to figure out an concept on how to get it done with this lesson as well smile.gif
