That happens
Try something different, learn some new song from a band you like, or record your own backind with a few powerchords and then try to jam over it... do something fun. Practice schedules are good, but sometimes our brain needs to break free and just have fun with guitar -------------------- Guitars:

Yeah, Fran is right!! Or do something completely else for a day or two. Life is much more than just practicing guitar, since if You enjoying life - it will definitely be reflected in Your playing!!!

Well this happens. We just can't be on a level of concentration and motivation every day. I often recommend to include rest days in a practice schedule. On those days you can get your mind off, possibly go to a gig/concert or watch a dvd. You can read theory too on those days if you still want to do something "guitar useful". Its not good to over burn yourself with excessive hours of practice and no rest.
So for today I recommend watching some good concert on dvd and just resting. Tomorrow inspiration and motivation should be there! -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Its also a question of what is "effective" practising or what is "leisure play". When i was a teen I could spend 6-8 hours playing to records or just jamming on the guitar, but there was no goal-intended practising - which is a pity, I've been a whole lot better today if I had practising properly instead...

This happens to all of us, there are days on which I play for hours, on others I play only a bit, and there are days on which I don't even touch a guitar. Sometimes it is even good to take a little break, so don't worry too much about it if you don't feel like playing from time to time.
