Hi guys,
I'm new to GMC and this is my first try on the rec-board!

Gear:
Fender USA Strat
Marshall JCM 2000 - DSL 401
Since my beautiful mbox recently broke I had to record straight to the mic of my macbook. the result is of course not overwhelming - but at least it suits my playing abilities
Hey lenni, that's a pretty cool take man, i see you wanna improve your rhythm chops and that's great and very important, i also love how a strat looks on a left handed person or is it some kind of mirror on your macbook ?
I like your chops man, i think you are almost there, but i feel that you need a bit more time practicing it, i think is a great choice posting this on the REC forum, you need a bit of advices im sure, and will keep you motivated, posting something new is always exciting!
With that said, you need to work on, first tune perfectly your guitar, on the open chords you can hear some notes out of tune, and on the single notes pentatonic riffs you gotta hit the strings harder to compensate the overall volume/output/gain.
Keep rocking dude, and if you are into rhythm now check out my other lessons!
This sounds and looks very good, I like your attitude. The tone could be improved, it's not very defined. Timing is good, but towards the end it becomes more loose, so watch for that. Try to relax your picking hand a bit, and it will be cool.
hey! It's great that you decided to post your first REC take here! Congrats man! It's a very good one. I agree with the things that Adrian and Ivan said regarding strength and timing, and I also agree that with some more practice you'll get a perfect take. Keep on rocking!
Hey mate! Congratz on your first take! Good effort! Improve your timing and tightness by practicing this lesson slower and getting it sound more defined in this way!
Awesome first REC take - I can see some clear rock star potential here!
Attitude! timing! great!
I would only improve the tone a bit. Alittle more gain, and maybe just overall volume in the mix, and a bit stronger picking!
Welcome to the REC board man! 7.8 on this take which is a passing grade!
