Whoa dude! This is some heavy stuff! I love the tone and the riff around 0:30 - that's my kind of riff work
Your lead tone and playing are great as well - this is not usually my kind of metal, but the way you play it makes me want to listen - you have that great touch and expression in lead playing which I like
Keep up the good work! Is this your band or what context would this song be integrated in? It has a serious amount of lead work and I am guessing it will stay purely instrumental?
NICE!!!!!! I just flat out LOVE Your lead tone man!!! Can you share that preset? I really dig a nice big sound with some room reverb I know it's a bit "retro" and such but that's part of it's appeal! Well done man. This sound freaking spiff!
Hi Pikman! This tune is very good!! Congrats!
The first thing that I thought when the track started is that your tone is very nice to hear. It's powerful, balanced and very "easy" to hear. Your composition is powerful and has lots of good ideas happening. In my personal opinion, I feel that the tune is lacking something different in the middle, I think that it's mostly related to harmony, the overall tune is a bit lineal. There are 3 chord progressions that appear starting at the first half but I feel that they are repetitive and it makes the track a bit predictable.
Besides this things, I can say that your riffs are very groovy and your lead guitar playing is so tight and tasty.
Keep on the great job!
Thanks for listening guys! I know I can do better with my writing skills and it is very difficult to be a "one man band" but,it is a challenge and if we do not challenge ourselves we cannot improve.i appreciate the compliments and the criticism.it really is all good......
Here's an attitude that will take you miles and miles forward on its wings
You know, sharing your ideas with us, will only bring the sort of constructive criticism and appreciations which you are looking for I think your evolution will definitely occur at a faster pace if you do so - it's just a suggestion, so when you have the time and materials, drop them by in this thread and we'll surely come up with our thoughts.
You said your band functions over the internet - you know, some of today's greatest prog metal acts began like that Periphery is the best example! How about telling us your band's story?
