Hey mate!

Great timing and clean playing here! I think that if you want to nail this lesson as close to perfection as possible, you should try not to push so hard on the frets once you play each accentuated note at the end of each phrase - min 0:10 for instance.

Once you get that done, things will sound much smoother in your playing!

All the best and keep rocking!

Hi mate, great to find a new REC take from you!

This lesson is a great workout for Alternate Picking and legato. I have to say that you are playing is very well. Your timing is tight in most of the parts, I only note some little timing issues in some legato patterns endings. Your alternate picking sound a bit weak in some moments, I recommend you to try to pick harder the notes to make the patterns sound more defined. The issue is also related to some little sync between both hands problem that appears in some notes so focus on it.

The other thing that I would like to comment about this take is that your guitar tone could be better for this one. It doesn't sound dynamic and it's lacking presence and definition. Listen to the original take, and then get back to your tone, compare the EQ, experiment adding treble, mids, adjusting other parameters in order to make it sound closer. Always dedicate some time before each take to improve your guitar tone.

Keep on the hard work! wink.gif

This is a solid take. My suggestion would be to work a little bit more on this lesson. Legato parts don't feel perfect just yet. As your hand gets tired (this must be quite a workout!), you seem to loose a bit timing here and there so you'd slightly rush the legato runs. I notice that its much easier for you to do legato going down (from little finger towards index) than opposite when climbing. For example 0:37 legato run is smooth.

Maybe try tackling some hammer-on lessons to smoothen the motion?

Here are some good ones :

- http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/hammer_on_dude/ (first section with hammer-on runs)

Looking forward to your future REC takes smile.gif
