OK, here goes my take on excellent lesson from Carlos Carrillo biggrin.gif

Nice and clean playing there mate, good bends and vibrato smile.gif

Everything is good, maybe less volume from the guitar or different tone tongue.gif

Now that was a truly great take! I think the tone was really good, the bends were well executed.

I know that Carlos doesn't do this in the original lesson but maybe you could (when there are only a few notes in a solo and you have to execute THESE notes with lots of feeling) slide to the starting note of each phrase. Or maybe slide down when you have a little time for the next one. You shouldn't overuse this and I'm not saying that it's necessary but it can really present more confidence when soloing! A little bit more vibrato as well and you're there - even though you applied vibrato a lot and that was well done! biggrin.gif

You've said in the chat that you're more of a rhythm player so far but this vid was a clear sign that with practice you can tackle these lessons perfectly so keep up the good work man! cool.gif

EDIT: what kind of equipment do you record with? Is it a proper camcorder? The quality is really good!

Yes, I know. Every time I play it I play it somewhat different wink.gif And sometimes I'm using those slide-ins on the first note and slide-outs on the last ones. It's just a matter of the current take wink.gif

Yes, it's a Sony Digital8 camcorder smile.gif

Great take mate!!

I think the only thing I have to say is that the guitar is not properly tuned. Be sure to check your tuning before any recording. biggrin.gif

Keep them comming smile.gif

Thanks, mate smile.gif
The problem is that I'm playing much better when I'm not recording it wink.gif geez... after turning my camcorder on I get my playing messed rolleyes.gif
But I keep uploading just for two things: first, I want to get used to it, and second I want to have my progress documented wink.gif

It's the problem with the guitar itself, unfortunately... I'm going to replace it soon. This one is really old and it has even no name rolleyes.gif I'm tuning it several ones a day, but it can't keep a tune on different frets.
