Looks really cool, but I can't stand playing V's cos you have to stand up with them.

Might be worth a look, depends on the price but I still need a 7string now that I was let down by the Schecter Loomis...

I was actually looking for about that guitar (feature wise) some time ago. But since I've decided again that strats are more comfortable when sitting.

What was your problem with it? I considered that one as a seven string too.

The Loomis has an even thicker neck than the other C-7 series (Hellraiser C-7, Blackjack C-7, ATX C-7) and those necks are not very skinny at all! The neck wood is swamp ash wich sounds a bit weird but might be up to s.o. taste...

The overall built quality was ok, Schecter like (good but not grounbraking) but it isn't worth it's money imo (like most signature guitars). For less money you can get a C-7 Hellraiser (which loomis used before he got his signature) and it even offers more than the loomis (locking tuners, split humbuckers,...)

its very simple looking, but i think that benefits this model because I notice that a lot of what ruins the appearance of the flying v guitars for some people is that sometimes they are too overdone with the paint job and graphics.
i like it, although i really wouldn't buy, not anytime soon at least smile.gif
