Heres a few i found on another forum about amp tones.. It would be cool if there was something on this site where you could go to find different tone settings for the amps everyone has...

Line 6 Spyder II

Model - Insane/Green
Drive - 8
Bass - 8
Treble - 6
Mid - 5
Channel Volume - 5

My main tone.

My "lighter" metal tone is just "metal" with the green LED. (Can't remember my specific settings).

Do you have anymore good crunch settings without effects??
im looking for like a green day type tone

Red/Green Metal
Gain 4-5
Bass: 3-5
Mid: 6-8
Treble: 6-8
Reverb: 1-2
Chan Vol: 5-6
Master: X

Red/Green Metal
Drive: 7
Bass: 4
Mid: 5
Treble: 6
Reverb: 1-2
Chan Vol: 8
Master: X

Try those, tweak them to your preference and expirment those settings on other models as well.

Line 6 Spider II

Crunch
Drive: 7.5
Bass: 4
Mid: 5
Treble: 5.5
Channel Volume: 7
Tremolo: half
Tape Echo: full
Master: 6-10 (depending on location etc.)

It would be cool if there was something on here where you click on your amp and there was a whole list of different settings to try out... a whole list of amps and people who have that amp would post different settings that they like..

a good setting I like is if you put it on the "zap pa solo" setting and take off all the effect.
