My name is Christian and I registered 3 days ago, which already turns out to be a decision that could not be more right. I really can't praise your efforts enough to provide professional training for those of us who can't (or do not want to) afford a guitar teacher.
I started to play the guitar roughly 2 years ago which is quite late considering that I'm turning 24 in a few days. However, I couldn't imagine a life without it any more and I'm very glad to have found this site which provides both basics and very advanced stuff for any style and level. And equally important: It is a huge motivator! You could even get the feeling, having started autodidacticly at an early age would not have been better but actually could have made things even worse, as I would have discovered your site (with all my bad playing habits) much later
By the way, my favourite guitarist is Mark Knopfler, and I'm very into bluesy things (truly loved the Steve Ray Vaughan Solo on freelicks.net!).
