GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Am I A Lucky Guy Or What!?

Well, as you know Muris has been in London all week and flys back home tomorrow (Thursday 19th), from Saturday (guitar idol show) we arranged to meet up again in London before he went home, well today was that day.
What a great day, I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did 
I`m completly shattered, we did an awful lot of walking today but got around london a bit, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Whitehall, Denmark Street (a whole street full of guitar shops 
) and of course not forgetting a trip on the London eye 
something I wasnt too thrilled about being a real wimp when it comes to heights, however, Muris insisted 
and even threatened to quit GMC if I didnt go on it (I`m sure he wouldnt have! ) but I am glad he made me go on it, in actual fact apart from the first 5 minutes I enjoyed every minute of it
Later, after the trip on the London eye we met up with Muris`s good friend Emir (also an awesome guitarist well worth checking out, just check him out on youtube or his website here http://www.emirhot.com/ )

What great pic's bro! You looked like a kid in a candy store And was that a steel guitar Muris was playing with? How cool was that! I can imagine you guys were turning some heads in thast music store!

Muris, if you ever come to Miami, I'd like to go with you to a guitar shop, mainly just to see the look on everyones faces when you play

oh yes far too many toys to play with, had to buy something so got a POD XT, got the live version but its quite large and the wife gives me a hard time with all the cables running everywhere, I can still use this live and have the normal POD on the desk and the run the cables a little more to her likeing

Yep,we had awesome day,lots of walk,pictures vids,amazing.
I might come and visit UK again quite soon tho,I kind a like it here

Seems like you guys had a cool time! And I learned the big ferris wheel that doesn't fit the london architecture is called London eye.

I'm really jealous this looks like lots of fun! Seems like you had a great schedule with city sightseeing and guitar stores!

I'm glad you enjoyed your time in the UK Muris. London is definitely a great place. I'm going at the end of July. I'm half Londoner and most of my relatives are from there. But I'm from Blackpool which at all costs you should stay away from. I stay away from there
Glad you had fun also Chris. Got to spend time with a guitar legend

) Im afraid the most extreme outing would be a trip to feed the ducks, and then of to the music shops

Was a great day, I had a blast, my legs are killing me today
the video`s arnt so good as the ones before as I just used the movie function on my little camera, but thanks I think they are quite large files so will send them like before you have to see that
the one when we are just about to get on should be funny!

That's seems such a cool day ... we should have a GMC event like every year, on a vacation period, members and instructors can go on vacation together and hang out ... that would be so cool , we can choose paris

Nice.
I've been in London for first time during last Easter and London Eye and Madame Tussads (wax museum) were my favorite attractions. So in the end I am sure it was no sacrifice at all
About the GMC mega-meeting I would go for sure.

Great pictures, Smells. I'm glad you and Muris got to tour such a beautiful city. London is one place I want to visit if I go anywhere overseas. So much history and beautiful architecture. Muris, if you visit the states, please let me take you around to the music stores so I can say, 'yeah, here's my friend...check this out!' Glad you guys had a good time. I also would love any kind of GMC get-together!
