There are so many different pieces of gear, and finding just right and combining them tells a lot about the character of person/player. Among my favorites is EJs type of rig, such a nice combination of gear:

What would be your favorite guys? smile.gif Post some pics or videos if you can find them smile.gif

Great topic and something i think players of all levels can learn from.....Here's my guitar god, Nuno Bettencourt, from Extreme and Mourning Widows. Talks about his gear, and what he uses.

I like how simple he sets things up and how he is focused a direct signal chain, and adding effects etc after the 'loop'. Worth the watch indeed wink.gif

interview guy:"oh my god those flying v's are amazing!"

nuno:"oh, they aren't mine those are rhiannas"

interview guy:"you're a legend so why does she have cooler guitars than you?"

nuno: " cause she plays guitar on this one song"

(awkward silence) o.o

Great thread! wink.gif How bout this for Simple Yet Killer rigs. Chris Broderick from Megadeth. Guitar-Axe FX Ultra-Marshal Power Amp-Marshal Cab. Two of each in the rack for backup. Add in some of the fastest guitars on earth and bingo! Metal God Riggage.

He actually uses the software amp simulator running axe fx on his laptop for his headphone mix!

And here is is playing a nylon string / classical. The guy is just sick smile.gif

Hahah, did you notice how the PG guy is asking some "silly" questions to EJ, like "is this pedalboard layout like this for logistics of it all" and EJ is like "yeah yeah, and it's about ergonomic feel and tone, pedals are affecting each other.." biggrin.gif priceless smile.gif
