I tried this before and the response was nil, but hey, maybe somebody got an ME-25 since then.

Nope....but I have played both an OLD ME-6, and an ME-50 for years. The ME-50 looks to be the most similar to a ME-25 in terms of build, features and usage.
They are a pretty decent little multi effects unit, in my opinion. The ME-50 was encased in metal instead of plastic, which was great....my ME-6 was plastic and eventually most of the buttons to navigate/change the presets ended up broken, so I was stuck with the patches I had at the time. I even saw Fahreed Hauque (probably spelled that wrong!) using an ME-50 on stage with Garaj Mahal live in about 2007. He's a KILLER player, and that was about all he was using. I ended up going with a pedalboard and separate effects pedals. Multi can be great, for rock/metal especially, but for funk/jazz/blues I tend to prefer separate effects. For example, I ditched the ME-50 mainly because the expression/volume pedal wasn't very smooth. I also, didn't like the wah and already used a crybaby instead. Plus, I never liked the delays much on it.... I realized that with a separate wah and volume (about $160) I could just pick up something for gain/distortion instead and replace the ME-50, for my uses anyway. -------------------- Check out my awesome Nintendo Cover-band, EMULATOR!! http://www.reverbnation.com/emulator Now.....go practice!! |

I have the Me-70. Haven't done much with it after I picked up the HD500. Just kind of sits there staring at me with big jealous puppy eyes :/
