I don't really understand why a vintage guitar should be worth so much. mid/late 60's models aren't the highest quality guitars made, that's the CBS era isn't it? I thought the expensive ones were the 50's models that were hand crafted. Personally I think i'd rather have a high-quality new guitar than a vintage 60's guitar, just for the sake of having a vintage guitar. Especially at 50 grand. In fact, I could have 25->50 nice Ibanez's for that. If the Strat was from 64, it's pre-CBS, which in the eyes of collector means something. This "meaning" has a "price" and it's 50K $. BTW, I saw people buying some very crazy stuff, spending a lot more than 50K, so what is a 50K for a nice true vintage guitar -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
