Hey, I'm very impressed with this take. At first I was confused that you used the Les Paul when you used a Start for the other non Yngwie REC take you did. I wondered if you find it easier to bend with the LP instead of the Strat because I know Strats can be hard to play.

However, you still managed to get an amazing tone. In some places you sound just like my original lesson.. and like Yngwie himself.

The only thing to critique, as you already know yourself, is that some of the bends are not 100% at the right pitch but I would say that they are not massively out either. I'd say you were 70% accurate throughout this take.

This bending technique is hard because it involves a lot of blind faith! It really is a technique that requires us to do it again and again until we can judge the right amount of finger action we need for a semitone or a whole tone.

Keep up the good work - you've got a great sound.

Hi Chris,

This is a very good take. Most of your bends are reaching the correct pitch and your vibrato sounds natural over the backing track. This lesson is really useful to incorporate this two essential elements for phrasing.

When comparing this one with the original (Ben is the king of vibrato, among many others techniques ) I can say that you could get even more from this lesson by emulating some of his vibratos. The main difference is how wide his vibration is and how details regarding when to start it and how it evolves over the note (notice that the vibration starts smaller and grows).

Your timing is perfect and your tone fits very well with the backing, it doesn't remind me to Malmsteen but it makes me think on Gary Moore, whose vibrato and bending was amazing.

Hery there!

This isa really nice take. You managed to get solid and repeatable vibrato motion. You even made it exactly as in original with a triplet feel. I've noticed Ben starts his vibrato slightly later on each note. That's just a detail, not an issue. You do go over correct pitch point - that's very important. As guys have spotted - the only thing for a little complain is the pitch of bent notes. I call It the "tolerance of live gig" but not the tolerance of studio recording Well done:)
