Music is from Stellardrone (Eternity). I've never really done anything like this, but I thought I'd give it a go:

The beautiful blue marble planet rotating on its tilted axis
With a moon revolving this cosmic traveler with steady gaze
Unfazed were we here or not, yet rigid it phases; an ardent praxis.
From this, our Earthly home, we set sail for knowledge of universal grace.

The heart and nucleus, the mighty Sun, our source of energetic strength
Around it spin eight planetary bodies in stunning splendor
Dancing predictably and systematically, described in detail and in length
One with such attraction for asteroids; Saturn, our great defender

Our nearest neighboring stars, Alpha Centauri, three siblings a-light
Two Sun-like and one dwarf, how I cherish the thought of a closer view.
Aspirations swell as knowledge grows in vigor, much to my delight
Bygone the days of pious creed, forth come science; observe, construe.

A gargantuan galaxy, an ocean of stars, this brawny beast is forceful and fierce.
The pull of a void with such ravenous hunger; it devours nigh wayfarers whole,
A metropolis of stars, the innermost marrow of our Milky Way, space-time pierced
This relentless impetus siphons our galactic spin, by pioneers named a "black hole"

Though this brawny beast may seem a hermit, there are many of its kin
Distant and desolate relatives, friends and foes; some in love with such yearn,
Their intimacy forges not an infant, they coalesce and develop altered spin
Here too diversity exists: elliptical, spiral and irregular! Observing, we learn

A search for knowledge, a desire to discover and discern, that is science indeed
We journey to unearth the earth's origin, to study life and evolution - or universal truths
And herein lies the truest form of our discipline, not to stagnate or to mislead
Ceaseless, but fascinating and rarely tame, this voyage my one and only muse

As you know I'm quite a fan of this band. I look forward to this album, and look! It's another 20 minute epic smile.gif I have generally not been too impressed with their releases in the last 10-15 years, but their last album "Distance over Time" was better than most of the other recent ones, so it'll be interesting to hear once they start releasing some material from this smile.gif

"Two-time GRAMMY-nominated and millions-selling progressive music titans Dream Theater announce the forthcoming worldwide release of their 15th studio album, A View From The Top Of The World on October 22nd. A View From The Top OF The World is Dream Theater at its musical finest expanding on the sound they helped create while maintaining the elements that have garnered them devoted fans around the globe. The 7-song album also marks the second studio album with InsideOutMusic / Sony Music.

The artwork was created by long-time cover collaborator Hugh Syme (Rush, Iron Maiden, Stone Sour). A View From The Top Of The World was produced by John Petrucci, engineered and additional production by James “Jimmy T” Meslin and mixed/mastered by Andy Sneap.

Dream Theater – comprised of James LaBrie, John Petrucci, Jordan Rudess, John Myung and Mike Mangini – was in the middle of a sold-out world tour in support of their last release Distance Over Time and the 20th anniversary of Scenes From A Memory when a Global Pandemic brought the world to a stop. The musicians found themselves at home with LaBrie in Canada and the rest of the group in the States. As fate would have it, they’d just finished construction on DTHQ (Dream Theater Headquarters) —a combination live recording studio, rehearsal space, control room, equipment storage, and creative hive. With LaBrie in Canada, he initially wrote with the band via ZOOM on a monitor in DTHQ. In March 2021, he flew down to New York, quarantined, and recorded his vocals face-to-face with Petrucci. The album ultimately threaded together lean and uncompromising hooks with tried-and-true technical proficiency.

“We just love to play our instruments,” observes Petrucci. “That never goes away. I love to be creative, write, and exercise that part of my mind. We’ve been able to do this for a long time, and we don’t take it for granted. Whenever we get together, we know we can’t disappoint ourselves or our fans, so we manage to try even harder.”
“We approach every album like it’s our first,” adds LaBrie. “It’s been such a great ride, but we’re not going to stop.”

"Dream Theater is also planning to hit the road in support of the new album. The Top Of The World Tour of North America kicks off on October 28th in Mesa, AZ and runs through December 14th where it concludes in St. Petersburg, FL. The tour will make stops in Seattle, WA; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; New York, NY and Orlando, FL among others. Information on tickets for all upcoming shows as well as VIP packages can be found here."

For anyone new to the band, here's one of their relative newer song:

Whereas my favorite album is Images & Words that probably has a slightly different sound to it:

I used to play football a lot when I was younger, and even into my early 20's I was relatively fit. Since then I had to stop playing football due to injuries, and through lack of exercising, getting on medication and what not I gained about 120 pounds or more. This has lead to lifestyle problems related to the overweight, such as sleep apnea and diabetes. Luckily my numbers in regards to blood sugar are low and stable, so that's good, despite the fact that I'm not good at remembering to take my medication for it, but the way forward for me does seem to be to exercise more.

I know they often say weight loss is in the diet, but I usually don't have the energy to cook much or the money to pay for pre-made healthier meals, and I've always had good luck with losing weight only through exercising. About 2 months ago I was at 150 kg/330 lbs. I was just on the scale today and I'm at 143.5 kg or 316 lbs.

This has mostly happened since I joined some exercise football fitness here in town. Something called Football for the Heart, for people with lifestyle problems. The first training session was on the 11th of June. It's just 1 hour each Friday, and it's in whatever tempo you want to participate in.

Here are some pictures from that:

Now there's a summer break untill the 20th of August, which started some 1½ or 2 weeks ago, I think, but I decided to try and keep working on getting in shape again, so I'm doing 2 sessions a weel by myself running around on a local football field for 25-30 minutes.

My main goal is not to lose weight, to be honest, it is to have fun first and foremost with a sport I like. If someone told me to go to the gym, play golf or something else I'd lose interest quickly. That's been my experience in the past. So football it is and fun it is, but only in a tempo and at a pace my knees can handle, which means I'm not joining a "real" club, but exercise football works!

I made a video about it today! This is about the first time in about 7 years that I'm shooting at a full size goal.
