Hi,Cosmin.
I did as you said.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5m8efybvxo0cz76/p...D0%B8%D0%B9.m4v

I am still not ready.
Well I'm on the way.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jbgmj8xcxov9kyy/d...2085%25%204.m4a

I would like to ask you about a sound. What do you think about this:
I play through headphones but one idea came to my mind.
I want to play through an amp.
I guess this should be nice.
Or is it a whim?
I have read on forums and youtube many reviews about different AMPs.
In general, it is not cheap.
This combination has attracted my attention: Peavey 6560+,Marshal 1960 Lead.

I am not going to buy it now but I would like to understand.

Hey amigo!!

I think you did a much better job in the clean picking now - can you hear how the notes are starting to separate and gain definition? That's your aim here biggrin.gif practice it a bit more and I am sure it'll work out soon, very soon - I will also think about a new lesson incorporating this technique, once you get this one in perfect shape.

Regarding the slowed down version - please remain at this tempo and focus on the following:

- you tend to play well in the high registers and not so well in the low register - focus on getting all the notes sounding clear in the low registers, ok?

- all the notes need to have the same dynamic when you pick them, focus on making all the notes sound even

Deal? smile.gif

Regarding the amp, there are a few things which you need to take into consideration:

- your budget
- your sound preferences - an amp suited for metal or a more versatile amp... for instance
- should it be a combo or a head and cabinet?

Owning an amp is very nice and if it's a tube amp, you will develop a great hand, as you will have to learn to control it smile.gif

What are your thoughts? The 6505+ is not that great - I'd go for the 6505 simple version, if you were to ask me wink.gif

Hey amigo! biggrin.gif That sounds pretty good, I say!

You are a bit ahead of the beat in some spots, but that can be arranged with a bit of focus wink.gif Now, I would like you to gradually add 5 % and record one take at 90% 95% and 100% tempo, ok?

I was also thinking, would you like to try a new lesson based on bending and vibrato? I am curious to see how you will fare with these techniques smile.gif

Hey there Pavel,

It is mainly ok, with a few exceptions - please see min 00:08, 00:13, 00:19 - you tend to be out of synch in these spots. As we discussed before, the lower registers are the issue you need to work on. You tend to lose definition when you get there.

Now, for a bending and vibrato experience, what would you say about this: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...String-Bending/

Hi,Cosmin.
I would like to tell you about my impressions.
My friend give me to try Ibanez Tube scream 30.
I enjoyed an open sound.
I hope that I will get Mesa Boogie mini 25 with Mesa Cab 1x12 in December - January.
I am really very impressed.

About the exercise:
I don't like it(I don't know why) but I know that I have to do it.
I will do it in a couple days.

Now I decided to transcript one thing. Blinded Colony - Heart.
It is the first time in my life.
If you help me I will be thankful very much.

Cheers

Hey Pavel, my friend smile.gif

We can always find another bending lesson - I chose this one simply because it was the most basic one and it will get you acquainted with the moves - it's your call here mate wink.gif

Now I totally recommend the TS 808 when it comes down to the tube screamer, not the new TS 900 and the Mesa - my God, you're gonna have a rig biggrin.gif Hehe!

Well, about the song - in order to start sorting it out here are the steps you should begin with:

- Establish the structure - how many different parts are there in the song and how are they linked?
- Find the tonality and the tuning
- Sorting out each part and mastering it

Have you already started learning it?

Hey my friend!

I notice that the long notes sound pretty good, but when the fast parts appear you tend to make them muddy and unclear due to the fact that they are faster than your actual playing possibilities at the moment - any chance you might isolate the fast runs and record them against a metronome at a slow tempo, paying attention to playing clean and as rhythmic as possible?

I checked it out and you would need to be tuned to drop B in order to play this song -> B F# B E G# C# in order to do that you need to get thicker strings and adjust your neck a bit - considering you only have one guitar, it can be a bit troublesome, because you will not have standard tuning as long as you stick to this new tuning. What say you?

Hi,Cosmin.

It is OK, because when I was in Kiev I got ESP Horizon NT II.
It will be in a drop tuning.
If I understood right I need to buy 11-56 strings.
And aso I have my first guitar Gibson LPJ.
It will be in a standard tuning.(well that's not sold my Gibson)

Cheers

Hi,Cosmin.

About my first transcription.
I write down the structure of the song.

Intro consists of four figures which repeat several times.
I tried to transcript every one.
In the evening I will post my records.
I think something is not correct.
I hear and play it many times and at the end I could not make out anything.
I think my ears are tired.
And it is enough difficult for my playing at the present time.
I thought that it is a simple song.

Well, I will continue in the evening

Cheers

Hello Pavel smile.gif

I think you have the structure correctly, but you need to work on reaching the correct pitches of each bend - please re-record and focus on reaching every pitch correctly. In order to do so, one good method is to rehearse with the original recording and make sure that your take is perfectly superimposed over the original one.

What do you think?

That Diezel is A MONSTER biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
