Which Languages Do You Speak?

One of the things that I've always loved of GMC is that the site connects guitarists and musicians from different parts of the world. I remember that I was amazed the first time I've jammed with people from Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and many other countries.

So the question is, what is your native language and which other languages do you speak?

Besides this, I'd like to recommend this amazing app (I use it in my cellphone) to learn languages: https://www.duolingo.com/

Like most English people, I can speak native tongue and not much else, I speak a tiny bit of Spanish (una cerveza por favor), and that's it, I've always wanted to learn more Spanish but my problem with all languages is the male female thing, like in French where table is female and a chair is male, or is it the other way around? Also the order of words, in English we say "The cat sat on the mat" but other languages may say "Cat the mat sat on".
That's where I really struggle.

Cheers Gab, interesting post wink.gif

I'm trying on and off to be comfortable speaking Portuguese, but it's a slow process with me.

My wife is from Italy and my kids speaks both English and Italian perfectly ... without an accent in either.
Io parlo Italiano poco e molto povero.

I speak Dutch, English and Spanish.
The first two fluently and then the last I can basically say almost anything I want to
I finished beginners, intermediate and advanced courses in Spanish and keep on practicing through audiocourses on my Ipod each day
The only problem I have with Spanish is the variety of speakers...some people I can understand perfectly and others speak SO fast, it seems like I never even learned anything biggrin.gif rolleyes.gif
