Hi mate, here I'm ready to give destructive feedback as you asked! hahaha just kidding.

I have to say that your hands movements look great on this video. There are just some little timing issues when you reach the triplets and even more important ones when you play the 16th notes that seem to be a technique limitation that will be fixed with more practice. The best thing that you can do to master it is to practice both rhythms as isolated exercises over slower metronome tempos to be sure that you are playing the quantity of notes required. Start 20 bpm slower and see what happens, make many repetitions and then increase the timing 5 bpm. Do this work every day for a week and you will surely master the lesson in 7 days or maybe less.

Hi there. I think you're doing well with the timing. There's only some slight inconsistencies in the triplets during the middle section, especially when they are about to move into the 16th notes at 0:49. Try to maintain the triplet feel until it's time to play the 16th notes.

The last section: The timing for this section is quite good. The thing that is messing you up is that you're missing out 1 note at the end of each 16th note part. The picking should be constant.

What you do is miss the last one out.. and because your picking hand pauses, you resume the next note with the opposite stroke. This is confusing things for your picking hand.

Each time you move to a new note you should always be starting on a down stroke.. if you pick all the notes like the lesson then this will naturally occur If you miss notes out though, it can mess up your picking pattern. Try it with one of the slower backing tracks and identify what I mean and you can experience this for yourself.

If you can eradicate that issue, then you'll be able to nail this lesson easily and you'll be ready for more picking work !

Hey mate,

I agree with Gabi and if you isolate the parts which need more focus, you will surely nail this lesson properly. This lesson is a very good means to understanding rhythmic subdivisions, so if you listen to your take, aside from the slight timing issues in the triplets sections, you will notice that you are usually missing the last 16th note in the 16th note section.

That happens due to the fact that you are trying to move to the next position to fast and you are scared because you won't make it - it happened to a lot of folks, so that's why I am assuming it Try to practice slowly and see that you play all the notes, evenly in terms of timing and attack and all will be well.
