Assuming the MTP would be continuing on indefinitely, I think it is safe to start with Beginner(Just not absolute beginner) and adapt to skills(Make a bit harder if I already know it). I have done my share of other programs(Still do) and have finished beginner lessons, only to find I am still missing skills that GMC would consider beginner. I'm ok with the basics but things like playing 16th tripplets at even at moderate tempo leaves my fingers in knots!! Also my theory needs expanding and put into practice.
