I'd call myself intermediate. I need a lot of improvement in a lot of areas though.

I voted Beginner, even though I can handle some intermediate stuff; I have too many gaps in my skill set. Assuming the MTP would be continuing on indefinitely, I think it is safe to start with Beginner(Just not absolute beginner) and adapt to skills(Make a bit harder if I already know it).

I also think GMC's definition of Beginner and Intermediate is different that the rest of the guitar community; GMC is a lot stricter, but with that will come better playing. I have done my share of other programs(Still do) and have finished beginner lessons, only to find I am still missing skills that GMC would consider beginner.

Some of GMCs lesson level 3s should not be considered beginner.

It's all relative

mmmm after much consideration I'm somewhere in that grey area of not totally an out and out beginner but not an accomplished intermediate player either.

I'm ok with the basics but things like playing 16th tripplets at even at moderate tempo leaves my fingers in knots!! Also my theory needs expanding and put into practice.

I like the idea of Mtp's tho

Voted Intermediate, although there is probably some huge gaps in my playing, I can play alot of the intermediate lessons with some practice. I'm really looking forward to a structured routine!!

Voted beginner, but improving exponentialy, as OC said wink.gif I'd love to be mentor, even though I can't write long comments on tiny mistakes, I think I'm a very active member, so an active mentor!
