sadly I don't have much time for the forums these days due to university studies (the main topic is music though, so it's quite ok ), but I finally got round to recording my new instrumental composition "Tell me why" - here it is:

Funk It Up! - New Original Song

Hi there,

just recently, I've finished recording a video for my instrumental tune "Funk It Up!". Check it out here (be sure to watch in HD!):



The main theme came up during a jam with my brother on bass quite some time ago. I then decided to turn it into a full song for my audition at university, I'm so glad I took the time to do so. I can only encourage everyone to record every single idea and try to turn it into something bigger!

Steve Lukather - Party In Simon's Pants (funkified Cover)

Hey there,

I just finished editing this new video featuring my funk / fusion band "Hinz und Kunz Quintett" (yeah that's German...). It's our very special funky arrangement of Steve Lukather's "Party in Simon's Pants" from 1994. You'll find lots of guitar (that's me btw) and saxophone solos in there - so just check it out:

This was all basically recorded live in one take in one single room (apart from the piano). So don't trust any sound engineer who's telling you that's impossible! The editing was done in Reaper and Sony Vegas Movie Studio.
