Pretty cool 
Reminded me of a lego documentary, the designers room was all white and he used the walls to start drawing models. White apparently has a positive effect to creativity.

They're all a bit too modern for me. I think I'd prefer somewhere cosy and "warm"!

That's a weird looking place, but it's closer to what I prefer, I think. You posted some pictures in another thread ages ago, which had some really cosy looking studios in it.

Very weird idea. It looks more like a wine cellar for me
If you put some wine barrels and shelves with bottles, it will match great in the picture

They are using the wood to soften up the sound since it's a room with concrete walls It looks neat and I"m guessing it works well to stop all the reverberation Termites might be an issue though!
This might be more along the lines of cozy IMHO one of the best home studios ever built. Hanz Zimmer!
