Hi guys,
this thread is mainly for Cosmin and Ben, but of course anybody who is interested to play a german festival with his band can join in. While it appears to be pretty difficult to apply for the huge festivals like Rock am Ring, it is possible to apply for a bunch of smaller festivals. I am gonna look for the right person to send your promo stuff to, and hopefully I'll see you guys in Germany next year. First hit: You can win a gig on the Summerbreeze festival, a big metal festival in the south of Germany (approx. 2h from where I live now). Yeah, there are bunch of festivals in Europe that are open for younger bands. Does anybody has some idea on how they handle traveling expenses?

I have found a site that lists basically all the festivals, so I am browsing this site today.
