Hi Gab,

After these few days, I feel my performance is very mediocre in terms of precision and also sound. I prefer to wait some more.
we'll see in about ten days if I can do better.

Hi Gab.

Today I found a positive attitude.
In the past few days, I have questioned myself because all these failures have done me a lot of moral harm.

I searched for a long time for a more suitable preset.
I recorded my takes at 80/90/100 etc...
I listened to each of them before recording a faster one.

Today my maximum speed was 124 BPM. I didn'tt want to increase because it would have been another failure.
I prefer to stay on a victory and start again tonight or tomorrow.

Todd advices to me playing with other pick.
I bought prodigy ernie ball 1.5mm . It was Not easy yesterday but Today it's better.
What do you think about this take ?
Tone and playing ?

Hello MisterM,

I think you are doing a great job with this lesson. The truth is that it is quite a demanding solo and the only thing I see on your part is continuous improvement.

From my point of view, the sound you are using works very well, although maybe you could use a little less gain/distortion.

Regarding your performance, there are only a few moments after the middle where the passages sound less consistent but you are very close. Choosing the right pick can make all the difference. My shred playing sound changed a lot when I started using Dunlop Flow 2.0 picks.

Keep practicing every day and enjoy the process of becoming a better guitarist.

Hi Gab.

I’ve been working on your lesson for a few weeks.
It’s fantastic, I love it.

It’s not easy because my arm pain doesn’t allow me to play every day.
Sometimes I can't playing during 2/3 days.

My shock wave treatment started again.
For a few days I feel better so I tried to play the lesson at full speed.

There’s still work to be done on the precision, but I’m proud to have learned all the licks,
as the last ones were not easy to play on the rhythm.

Hey Manu, how are you?

Yeah, I've been away from my studio for the last month.

Good to see you rocking hard here! The Mayer solo sounds good, buddy. There are a few little differences and timing issues, but nothing dramatic, you're on the right track here. I think it'll be very helpful if you take it into your daily practice and combine it with your own licks. Then you'll get a lot more out of the lesson.

What do you think?

Hi Gab

I'm fine and you ?
Thanks for feedback.
Since this video I have moved on to other lessons.
Straight Rock : you will find in the REC SECTION... I posted the link in the previous message.
I made these 2 REC quite suddenly because my arms were healing and it made me want to do these things.

Right now I’m working on big band funk again.
I asked for help here : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=63197

Have a nice day

Edit : 08 september
BIG BAND FUNK GROOVES on REC Section
I wait your feedback on STRAIGHT ROCK too 🙂
