I'm really looking forward to the concert. Especially since they're playing all of Blackwater Park which I think is their best album and it's real masterpiece. I'll be the third or fourth time I'll see them and they always deliver.
I wish I could go... Opeth is one of my favourite bands! Too bad they are not coming to norway I'm sure the shows will be mindblowing
Closest one is about 5,000 miles from my house so Im out of luck I've seen them about 3 times though so I dont feel so bad....Still, I would kill to see Bleak played live, I love that song.
i am very jealous
Next time please post the dates before they are sold out!
Thought that this event was well known since the dates were announced early December.
I'm really psyched about it though. I mean _all_ of Blackwater Park.
I'll be at the show in Essen, really looking forward to that one
That will be an amazing show I'm sure, have fun!: )
20th already?? wow! I saw them live, I really liked them

Seven hours to go...
Have fun dude! Opeth rules!~
I have my ticket for the show of Paris
Going to the arena now. Have fun with
This was amazing!
The best way to describe the concert is to say that it ended with 3000 people (the whole arena) stood up and applauded for over ten minutes after the last song. I'm really blown away by this.
One day to go for me
I can post the setlist for the second set if you're interested. If not I won't.
Don't!!!! Or well, feel free to post it, I just won't check this topic anymore today But as long as they keep their promise and play the whole Blackwater Park album (my fave) nothing can go wrong anyway
Hope they strike here to south america. I saw them live on 2009 and they were amazing. Blackwater park is still being one of my favourite acts
Killer show in Essen, they played for about 3 hours The only strange thing was the venue, it was a cinema, so everybody was sitting and this feels just weird in a death metal concert. Also the sound was not very loud during the blackwater park set, I guess there were movies still shown in the other rooms of that cinema, but for the second set the sound improved a lot then. well, great show, but next time I would prefer to see them in a "normal" venue.
I hate "Sitted" shows, specially with bands like that. But is cool to watch the show in that way if the play all "Damnation" album
Even damnation I would prefer to watch standing, sitting during a show always feels like watching a DVD, something is just missing.
Yeah, maybe you lost this sensation of adrenaline when you listen live to all the songs you like.
