Thanks Gab,

No work last night, we had to have work on our central heating and he was there until late pm in and out of all the rooms. I'll dig out some old blues recordings. Did the artists like Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Ellmore James, Bo Didley etc use arppegios and triads?

Cheers buddy.

Small English lesson today wink.gif

"This is exactly what you need to work!" Would be better as, "This is exactly what you need to work on! We would say, "You need to work on that to improve", "I'm working on it, it iwll be done soon", "I'm going to work on it tomorrow".

I hope that helps wink.gif

Thanks for the English lesson! biggrin.gif

Yes, all those Blues masters use triads and arpeggios combined with Pentatonics and some modes for soloing and comping. That's how they can make the chord progression sound even when they are playing without backing or other musicians...

Thanks for the video Gab,

I think I've seen it before. I'll continue to practise. I think this would make a great REC lesson series. Triads and arpeggios. It could cover different skill levels. Maybe using a further triad, I'm guessing the next one would be D7 but I'm probably wrong as I just counted the letters in the alphabet and used i iv v

I'll knuckle down this week, had a busy weekend, even managed to get to the seaside today, in February in England that is rare wink.gif

Cheers buddy.
