I know the pain. the bone in my right thumb was shattered two years ago, I couldn't hold a pick properly for a few weeks, but I still practiced every day. unfortunatly the thumb still hasn't healed and it looks like it never will properly heal sad.gif

you could also do some finger exercises with the other hand!
