I would check in the control panel of Windows what your current default soundcard is. First set it back to your internal soundcard and check whether normal sound is working again, then after that select the correct settings for use of your toneport

Too high inputvolume maybe? I have that too with my microfone when I turn the music up too loud.

Go Start>All Programs>Line 6>Tools>Line6 Audio-MIDI devices
Adjust the buffer size to 512, bit depth to 16 bit, and move the down tone direct slider a bit to the right, and see if the problem persist. Also check the volume knob on the device. It shouldn't be all the way up, always keep it at 3/4 up there and control the volume from the PC speakers. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
