have just been reading through the gear forum, I notice that there is an odd thread here and there on POD X3 and XT etc, I thought that it might be quite a nice idea to have a small subforum in the gear section maybe for several different multifx devices, PODS, GT-8`s, Korg Pandoras etc, with the Line 6 stuff you can share saved patches, but it could be a resource for all of us to use share patches settings etc, I`m not sure if patches can be saved like this for the Boss, Korg & Zoom gear? but settings etc could be shared, and people with these can show others how to get the best out of them?

Just an idea, what do you guys think? apologies if discussed before, couldnt find anything apart from the odd threads, I know there are other resources on the net for this, but personally I like everything to be in one place smile.gif

Sounds like a good idea - maybe one subforum and lots of stickies in it?

That's a good idea! If we get it set up I will keep pinned threads for sharing of settings and files per modeler/multifx since sometimes patches can't be shared between the same brand since an upgraded version may use different audio chips and that may also be the case between co-existing series.

+! for the subforum and stickies. smile.gif

Maybe name of the subforum could be something like "Gear Manufacturers", or " Gear by Name" or "Sorted Gear"...

Anyway, good idea

I found out that you're right on that brand is better, it's too much otherwise, I don't think we have enough mfx and modelers anyway. What is it now... POD, PODX3, PODXT, Guitarport, POD 2.0, Micro POD laugh.gif
