Don't know why I can't get my head around this topic.

If I had the following pedals, how would you configure them?

Wah
Compressor
Overdrive/Distortion
Octave pedal
Phase 90
Stereo Chorus
Delay

And which ones go through send/return?

Any thoughts?

Chorus and delay would probably go into loop,
even phase and octave but some players also like them before amp
so try both way and see how you like it.
Rest it:Wah, Compressor, Dist or Compressor,Wah, Dist...your choice. smile.gif

It's your choice mate, some people use the distortion even before wah, but in general wah should be the first in line, then compression, distortion, octave can even be before distortion, as the phaser and chorus, but in general it is good to put phaser, chorus and delay in the FX loop. I think the best way is to experiment and see where they sound the best to your ears.

Behold! the Mighty Order of Pedals laugh.gif

Wah - Compressor - OD - AMP Input

Send - Phase 90 - Return

Mike your amp, on mixer you should use the Stereo Chorus and Delay as inserts...

I couldnt think otherly as chorus and delay are stereo... And once our sound engineer told me that pluging a delay on the fx loop is not very good because of the nature of this effect. But you know better than me for sure laugh.gif

Chorus is stereo and will lose it's character as mono, no doubt,
delay is probably mono tho.
I was saying that Kizaze probably isn't on that stage to mic his amp
and post inserts on mixer on his own. smile.gif

Here's a question guys:

suppose you have 2 same amps (like on stage), and you have a stereo delay. How will this work:

Put stereo delay in FX loop of the amp 1.
Plug the left out into return of amp 1.
Plug the right out intro return of amp 2.

How will this sound on the amp 2? Has anyone tried similar setup?
