I didnt really feel like running scales or exercises tonight, and was feeling in a funky mood.. so i made a drum track and rhythm and made a little solo over it... Im trying to work on my improv skills and phrasing

Let me know what you think? All feedback is good.. positive and negative

Hey nice wah usage!!!...I liked to solos (cool phrasings) , rhythm part was kinda over the top and not so convincing at times...Good funky improv overall ! smile.gif

Lol I thought you used a disc to do the noises at first. (like DJ's) That was pretty cool but I think the rhythm was pretty extreme. Nice wah use on the lead part--nice and funky!! biggrin.gif
I wish I had a wah pedal. $$

Cool take. Sometimes I have impression that you're faster than your backing track (like never on the first beat with the drums). Wah control is pretty good. Well done

Yeah im working on my timing.... getting timing right takes time biggrin.gif

its kinda cool coming up with something with just a drum track and knowing that the whole thing came from you...

I was diggin that riff i had in here, but seems like alot of people arent into it... its all a learning process

thanks everyone for the comments and being honest

I must say you really tried on this one mate, well done smile.gif

However, I have some suggestions. FIrst the drum groove is not the kind of stuff I would put in funky tune. Try to find a more simpler groove where you can lay on top of it some 16th note scratchings with a wah. THis will definitely improve this tune mate.

PS I love the Hendrix vibe on this one wink.gif
