Yet another instance happened on Sunday, I'm driving home from Soundcheck at church and my voice is all nicely warmed up and I start improvising a nice gospel blues type thing that would be perfect for a type of bonus track on the EP I'm writing, and foolish boy that I am, I thought 'I'll remember this, no problem'. My mind is blank DOH!

Happened to me this morning. In the shower and came up with an awesome vocal melody to go over a chorus to a song I'm working on. I thought to myself, "ah, I'll remember this" and avoided humming it into my iPhone. By the time I got my keyboard plugged in and found the tone I was looking for, it was gone.

Evidently, I have not learned from experience.

Most of the times you don't remember it, you just remember a variation that you are sure that isn't as cool as the original idea!
