GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Crazy Speed Technique? Or Just Crazy?

Posted by: Aaron Dec 13 2007, 05:21 AM

i know that this is crazy but i have notice after playing guitar hero 1 on expert (not 2 or 3 cuz da hammer ons affect the technique) that the speed of my soloing has actually improved. unfortunatly this only works on fast songs and i am still testing my theory.
any thoughts?

I get the opposite effect the more I play guitar the worse I get a Guitar Hero and vice versa.

If one approaches life with these assumptions:

1) All politicians are liars
2) All news reporting is twisted and distorted regardless of the source
3) There is absolutely no merit whatever in playing video games

For the most part, you will find yourself on safe ground.

As sad as it seems it's all too true. And politicians and the news papers will always get away with it since the average person thinks it's too convenient just to be fed with thoughts instead of reflecting and thinking for himself.
Animals are more straight, lie and mislead and you'd be pushed away from the pack or just killed, whatever you deserve the most. There wouldn't be a single politican or journalist alive.

Delving into the realms of philosophy here!
A rather unusual progression from video games I must say.

Well since improving in guitar hero is basicly improving you'r memory, and you'r eye-hand coordination, than it makes perfect sense that it can improve you'r guitar playing ability(even if it is only slightly)
