hi

i like to know how to play CAntaloupe island from herbie hancock since so many time.

i have do some try out, but i do not work on since some month.... all benefit lost.

while my previous session with my friend Yann, we try to play it, but i do not remember event the chords , a shame.

so i tale the decision to focus a little bit on it.

So this is my topic about it, this can permit to see the evolution of my playing.

i do not search to play as , but learn scales ,how to then finaly to jam on.

this is my first test.(since a long time)

things are really bad before 1:20..... after i do better , maybe concentration
in any case, i do not mastering it !!

You're kind of getting it.

For the first 'change' to Db9 you can stay in F minor pentatonic or F blues. Or, if you want to play over that change (the Db9), use a Db mixolydian scale - Db Eb F Gb Ab Bb Cb. Or a Db altered dominant scale - Db Eb F G Ab Bb Cb.
When you get to the Dm7 section you have to change chords/keys. Use D dorian - D E F G A B C or D minor pentatonic.
