Hi Ivan - thanks again for a very nice collab.
As always I´m looking forward to your feedback and hope you see some minor improvements in vibrato, general bulid up of the solo, tone and audio mix (or just one of those... tongue.gif )

Cheers
Berglmir

Hey man, sorry for the delay on this collab. Seems that you are the only participant, so here's the comment my friend. Thanks for signing up! smile.gif

Rhythm: Excellent use of many different note durations during the solo. I like the way your phrases are structured, and the timing is also very good. There is one faster section where not all the notes matched, but it's a honest mistake, and very small one. Besides that, everything is OK on the rhythm part.
Phrasing: Great use of licks and lines during the whole solo. Every note is on it's place, and they are all within appropriate key. One thing I must say is that the solo didn't have that strong connection with the chords in some places. You came back to the root a bit too often, and some important strong notes were not used. This is not a big problem, but for improvising, it's always about focusing on the note range of the chord being played in the background, and using that note range effectively. You seem to do that, but you seem to use more learned licks and lines. Combining both and finding a nice balance is what you should aim at.
Technique: Very nicely played, very clean and with solid tone consistency and control. The thing that could be added are vibratos. Every note that rings for a bit longer should have some vibrato, it will give a nice dimension to the playing. If you do some scalar exercises, try to vibrate every root during exercise, this will help later.
Sound: The sound is nice, and smooth with some delay added. I think it could be a bit more smoother, although it cuts through the mix nicely. The distortion is a bit buzzy, so that is the only thing that could be fixed a bit.

Thanks a lot Ivan (and no problem about the delay - I´m not in a hurry! cool.gif !
I appreciate your feedback very much because I know from other collabs that you are very open and honest about that and so I really get the feeling that I have improved a bit over time.
I know that vibrato is STILL my weak point but I´m working on it wink.gif
Really looking forward to your next collab!!
