Great buy, I was debating wether to get just that chair or one called Allak, also at IKEA. smile.gif
A good chair is worth so much.

I ended up with this, in black.

I haven't mounted the arm rests on at all actually, since they would indeed interfere with playing.

I recently broke a chair (which is pretty much the same as MickeM bought)...Those plastic hand holders are actually holding the whole chair together and they broke in multiple places for me sad.gif Also at last , two roller ends of legs of the chair broke so I had to retire it smile.gif Now I really need a new chair , my back is starting to hurt sad.gif

Getting a chair with a good back rest and without hand rests is good for us guitar players. When you buy a chair be careful to buy one without arm rests, or at least that you can unscrew them if you want to.

My chair is the cheapest model, and it has served me (nicely) for a year. It's time to retire it as well, because the inner padding is ruined.

the back on my chair is sooo bad- if i lean back it falls off (shortly followed by myself).

Luckily im moving to uni in a week and they have newish chairs up there, hopefully i can get those armrests off without causing too much damage.

I must say that I wouldn't suggest one if you're going to use it to sit in front of the computer also. As for guitar playing it may be good. I've been using a bar stool lately to play guitar. I find that pretty alright.

hehe, I have a 120 € chair !! I love it, really confortable biggrin.gif and I only paid 50 € because it was from the brother of my girlfriend and he doesn't likes it (because it's too large for his room). A great purchase smile.gif
