A couple of interesting things, like a new PGM and a H-S config Xiphos with 27 frets.

Can not believe it ... thats the greatest news ever .... a reissue AT100 !!!

A while back i tried to get an AT100 from ebay and i was going high with my bids. I thought this is a one in a lifetime chance to get one. I couldn't believe that it was offered anyway. In the last second i lost .. i was close to a depression afterwards laugh.gif

Thanks for the link ... it's time to invest in my first quality guitar !!

Awesome. The timmons model is one of the few Ibanez I'd love to get my hands on. I don't like the new PGM finish so much, it makes the f-holes look fake (even though they are). Still, cool stuff even though I'm not an Ibanez guy tongue.gif

I can not get this AT100 out of my mind and have a question, maybe someone knows how it works.

I have seen that this model is already available at thomann for preorder. I never preordered a guitar. Is the price in general lower, higher or the same for preorders? What does RRP mean here? Is the real marked price already fixed or is this something estimated?

http://www.thomann.de/gb/ibanez_at100cl_sb..._at100cl_sb.htm

Thanks ...

That looks like a 22 fret RG to me with a wilkinson instead of a floyd. I always thought the Andy Timmons model was based on the S-series Ibanez. Was I wrong? Hope you are able to get one of these Wrk. Good luck!!

You are right, the body shape of the AT100 is a typical RG model. What you have in mind is the AT300, the last Timmons signature series. Not sure if its really like a s-series, but it was more rounded.

I'm a fan of Andy Timmons, but would go so far to buy a guitar only for that smile.gif
I just like the setup. strat type, wilkinson bridge (no locking nut), but Sperzel locking tuner and the cruiser pickups. Pots and switch are placed like on a strat and a maple neck. Really nothing fancy. Another option was by now to buy a Fender Highway and customize it to the above setup, but all the parts together would easily reach the same price range.
