I was bored this evening and was cruising in downtown Hayward (my home town) and saw there was a live band playing so I parked and walked in. the band playing was named Purple Haze
http://www.purplehazeband.com/ The band is phenominal live. The guitar playing was just off the wall and his tone was amazing. He could really make his guitar sing. There were only like 20 people there - amazing how you can just happen upon a real gem playing in a dive, with a city full of people who just don't know what they missed! Nice band, thanks for sharing. I've heard some fanatic Hendrix tributes, and this is definitely one of them!
