Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi guys!
Second REC-post now.
This time I'm doing the third Vibrato Odyssey.
The second one and the fourth one will follow to. But I'll find them a bit harder than one and three.
I hope you like it!

Wow biggrin.gif

I'm blown away at your string bending.. the pitch was perfect !

The only thing that stops me giving a 10 was the timing and phrasing was a bit different to the lesson.. but in all honesty, your feel is amazing and you're going to make an incredible guitar player if you keep going down this road ! I'm really impressed cool.gif

I noticed something very interesting in this take. You don't seem to have a problem with the hard part which is doing the bends in tune. But when you go back a still note, intonation flakes a bit.

That might have to do with the guitar?

Very good take. Bending is hard and you did well to stay in pitch.

This is good. The bends are nice and precise, but you need to work more on that vibrato, it's not that even, in time and needs to be stronger, specially the bend-vibrato.
