Hi,

I have been following this guide on how to record properly with Reaper and my PODxt Live for making guitar covers however I have a few questions:

1) When I hit PLAY to hear anything on Reaper it doesnt play. If I change it from ASIO to DirectSound I hear it fine but he doesnt have that in the guide, how can I get around this?

2) Is this the best method for recording guitar covers?

Thanks,

-R

Try the audio options in the control panel, set Playback through your POD

When you go into Playback options m8 theres no selections just alot of tick boxes sad.gif

Main reason im doing this is because the sound I get from playing via my Peavey VK112 and what I record is different so I just wanna try and find a level ground if not then just make sure the recordings are accurate.

Also sorry heres the video:

Oh, I think that wont work though as I had a YouTube video open at the time and it was outputing sound fine.

I'll try again just now though just to check

Got it all setup fine,

I play a song in iTunes it plays fine

I went into Reaper, set it all up with ASIO and no sound, change it to DirectSound and it works fine.

Is there like a "monitor" button on the track settings? If so, that has to be disabled when playing back the audio.
