Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Awesome to see you here again Mad ❤️👊

Overall this is very good.

* At 00:05 there is something wrong pitch wise with that note on the 2 fret. I suspect you might be fretting it too hard but it could also be the tuning.

* At ~ 01:25 - for this kind of thing I would try to play this without "anchoring" with the right hand pinky. This might make it easier for you to achieve that aggressive downpicking we are looking for. I do use anchoring quite a bit myself I don't considering it wrong in general, but it might prevent you from getting that attack/acceleration we are looking for.

I think this take just has a little polishing left, you get an 8 form me. Well done!

Hey there!

Very nice come back. doesn't sound much like you had a break.

In a very first impression it is a tuning that seems to make problems. First notes on E6 sound sharp. Some other notes on high string sound little flat. Taking care of this would surely add more pro flavor to your performance.

I feel like it's some kind of frame rate problem in the video. Your moves are not clear enough and I can't determine the picking direction in some sections.

What I like is your confidence in playing, which transfers to your even picking. It is a really promissing take. Well done
