There was on software that looked amazing! But, I forget what it's called. The guys who made it always updates. It is about to have youtube audio downloads, which is amazing. It had free samples... It was great quality. It was really cheap to compared to others softwares + a better value.

I downloaded "Sigma player" for free and slow down itunes tracks. Really, horrible quality... and only one speed.

My advice is try to shell out $40-$100 to buy a decent software package. Otherwise, just rewind a zillion times (and turn the volume up). Your ear will develop. Don't worry about perfection your first run through either. Go back a few times and fix your previous mistakes. Hope this helps smile.gif .

Dont start try tabbing out a hard song but start off with an aesy song in order to train your ears.

The song is easy, i have seen my brother playing it(its hes band), after the intro when the guitar plays i can't figure out everything he plays, its mostly open strings, but this song is recorded live, maybe i wait untill they records the song in the studio.

Try to find the right notes with your guitar while listening to the song, and when you find them just tab them. It's great ear practising. That's always worked for me smile.gif

I tab with guitar pro and pretty fast too. The trick is to train yourself to be very aware of the note length. When you overcome that obstacle it is pretty easy to tab anything, because as soon as you hear the notes you know "by default" what time value it is. A bit of practice will lead you to it.
