Three cheers for LIZ WAHL who is a Russia Today news anchor, until today. She has been sickened by the PUTIN SPEW of lies on Russia Today concerning the Ukraine coverage. She had the guts to call them out and quit live on the air!! Well done. Horns high. Much respect.

She has my respect. I've quit jobs for a hell of a lot less. I can't believe the Russians would violate another country's sovereignty over a bunch of trumped up charges. I mean what kind of country would ever do something like that? Thank god we live in the US where stuff like that doesn't happen. laugh.gif I can't even say that with a straight face. It seems so hypocritical for the US to critisize Russia for going into Crimea.(Which is actually on their border.) When we violate country's sovereignty all the time. Iraq, Afghanistan, E Timor, Grenada, Libya, Vietnam, Korea, Cuba, I mean I could go on and on. I realize Putin is an .., but we should probably get the facts first before throwing down the hammer on them, and hurting everybody but the responsible party. Of course that is just my opinion.

Seems like times changes. More and more people have guts to resist the "system". Poor thing is that we speak today and probably will forget her few months further....but she will find more consequences for a longer time...

Amazingly brave response.
There are so many instances where a countries sovereignty should not of been violated.
There are also many instances where a countries borders SHOULD of been violated.Think genocide, ethnic cleansing

So true. The only problem is that the countries that commit the heinous acts are seldom the ones who's sovereignty is violated. Instead the UN punishes them by forming a committee that explores the possibility of writing a strongly worded letter that condemns the actions of the perpetrator. If they really piss the UN off. They actually send the letter. smile.gif
