Here is my first Attempt at the second solo in Master of Puppets, ive only been working on it a few days so its still pretty rushed and sloppy. I am memorizing a bunch of songs and playing through them like a set list at the end of my practice routine and this is my newest addition laugh.gif . Tell me what you guys think! PS I HATE that whammy harmonic thing hahaha

I think you've got the notes but you need to work on the rhythmic placement of those chopps you got.
In order to get a more acurate rhythm you'll have to relax a little bit, you seem to be tense and that's not a good factor when you have to play a solo.

I hope this works smile.gif

Keep the good work mate!

Not bad!
As said before, rhythm placement is to be worked on, but that is good considering that you just started working on this!

Thanks guys! Yeah I find myself rushing to each piece of the song as its still a litte above my capabilities I think. On another note I played the Enter Sandman solo with focus on relaxing as Ramiro said and I think it turned out quite a bit smoother than usual laugh.gif

Very close!

David and Ramiro gave you a couple of valuable advices.
I'd like to add another advice - watch your bending and vibrato!
You shouldn't bend with just one finger unless that's the only way possible because of the fingering (which is not the case here). Try backing up your bends with 2 or 3 fingers to get more strength in and reach the notes you're bending into.
Also make sure your bends are on pitch!
As far as vibrato goes, try to slow it down a little bit and make sure you go back to the note you're vibrating to keep your vibrato on pitch!

Thanks Ivan! Vibrato and bending is something I struggle with constantly, I've been working on it a lot with lessons from GMC. I will try to use your advice about the fingering! Thanks!

No problem wink.gif
Using more than one finger while bending will help you a lot! Guaranteed!
