Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi guys,

I recorded Ding Dong for the Festive Challenge, using my Ibanez guitar, a V-amp 3 and energyXT software.

Enjoy!

Nice take! Pay attention to your intonation more. Feels that your pitch is higher than it should be. I think it might be because of the way you do your vibrato.

You know how impressed I was with your take and that nice, fat tone so it makes sense for some other instructors to view and vote ! wink.gif

Very good tone. Pay attention to intonation (possibly tuning). Also you can play it all a bit cleaner, though I suppose those mittens do a great job of muting smile.gif hehehe

It's well done. I think timing is the biggest problem next to intonation. Try to make those notes ring clearly with the drums, specially the strong notes at beginning of that repetitive phrase. They need to be prominent. 1st and 7th note need to be loud and precisely in time.
