This band is pretty amazing, the bassist is a good friend of mine (He's an amazing bassist, you should hear him play! He doesn't get to show off as much in the band... sad.gif No crazy bass solos...). They're just a local band, not famous yet! Not sure what to call them, but I guess indie is as close as I can get. They're not as good on their recordings, much more impressive live, but this might give you an idea...

Great smile.gif thanks Zephyr. One of the keystones in Indie is to be true to the music, recording can be anything, old 8-track tape-recorders are preferred. I like that. Here is an example biggrin.gif hehe: Superchunk

I know of a bassist too but he has really taken it to the limit and makes almost only solo preformances now. Laconic Zero is too much for most people, but its amazing what he can do with his bass-guitar and some Roland gear.
