I just bought one. I like it but I am already looking at buying another guitar. I do like the Warlock, but I'm not in a thrash metal band and the 'cool' factor wore off from me really quick.
I paid close to $700 /w Tax CDN for a Body Art Collection Series (only 13 of them in Canada... at least that is what I was told.) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v431/detsiwt/warlock3.jpg Everyone who sees it is either in awe of how sweet it looks or hates it because it's too metal. I appreciate either reaction This is by no means a sales pitch, but if you are interested, PM me. My ideal way to sell it would be to take it back where I got it because they'll give me the full price I paid for it. The problem lies in the fact that they don't sell Schecter or Ibanez. I'va also heard that some of them have 'jumbo frets' - what's all that about? I don't want to buy something that I can't play!!! JT "Jumbo" is a measure of the width and height of the fret. Most Ibanez RS/S model guitars have Jumbo frets. They are not so tall that they will give a scalloped feel. EDIT: Just to add that there in fact ARE frets available for a scalloped feel. EDIT2: I just checked the Ibanez signature guitars and the Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Korn and Slipknot (don't recall the players names and I'm too lazy to look it up again lol) all have Jumbo Frets. Steve Vai has Jumbo frets for two of his models and two are 6105 frets (the Steve Vai Pavel signature model has 6105) which are about the same height but a bit narrower. Joe Satriani use 6105 frets except for the low end signature model which has "Large frets"... whatever that means.
